Reply letter to my friend's question who is worried about his poor language writing skill that prevents him from passing promotion exam.

Though you seem to believe that a man with better language skill has also better social skill,in my idea it doesn't necessarily true because such superficial skill tends only to seek for one's own benefit.Instead, what I put more importance is a unique talent that can contribute more to the public.Suppose our society is one huge system as a whole and if everyone unique member of it could find its defects and fix that system, the idealistic society will be completed.

Though I may be repeating my previous remark, what's needed is not stereotype language skill, but unique talent that fill the gap of the society.

This morning I laughed a lot with my wife when we happened to watch one NHK broadcast's short program that introduces simple daily excercise.Though our public broadcast NHK has featured such program from long time ago, what was unusual of this time is that it comically tells how we corporate employees can find time in our busy life to refresh our body by casual excercise. For example, the excercise shown this morning used arm holders while we're in the train by hanging on it and twist our body.I've never laughed so much while watching NHK that usually has serious documentary programs or news.

Heartwarming story about one mentally-disabled boy.

When he played GO with a kindergarten child,he was in the lead until halfway by taking much more of the opponent's stones which made the child start to feel sad.He ,then, started to feel sorry for the child and on purpose tried to give his stones to the opponent on the play in order to give that child his lead and make him happy.I was very impressed to know that such a intellectually disabaled guy was wise enough to be considerate for the other's feeling like this.

Back to our society, there're many cases that a greedy business person seeks for money so much even by breaking the law.THey should feel ashamed for their wrongdoing and learn the lesson from this heartwarming story.

The surprising news of our friend's wedding! Her name is Karen.

About how we made friends with her,it's just my wife talked to her some day on the street to ask if she could be her language exchange partner as she sometimes does.Since Karen was also looking for someone to be her friend, she was willing to accept Tomoko's offer.Besides, what was not usual for her unlike other such foreigners was that Karen always try to be with Tomoko on weekend since she was suffering nervous breakdown at that time and accordingly the only pleasure that has eased her depressed heart was when she had some fun with us like inviting to our house to practice calligraphy or visiting spa together etc. Therefore, even after she went back home, she frequently wrote us appreciating our hospitality and kindness that eased her mental pain. Now you may easily imagine how much we're moved and delighted with her wedding news.

We received her invitation card to her wedding,so we're looking forward to attend it on coming October.

Yesterday on the war memorial day our prime minister visited the Yasukuni Shrine which brought about controvertial sensation both inside and outside the country.

Even within the family the opinion was divided between I and my parents who support for his visiting.I agree at the point with my parents that Koizumi should pray for the dead soul who had bitter painful time at the war,but I think he should be more considerate for the reason why many people including other Asians are opposing and should try more effort in persuading them.It can be seen in family issues as well like a child does some selfish act without paying any attention to one's parents notice.

P.S.This time I thought he explained better than before since it was the first time for him to dare to visit it on the right day of memorial that was expected to have maximum criticize from opposition groupe.

P.P.S What I noticed interesting about my parents is that their unfriendly attitude toward neighboring Asian countries which lead them to pay few attention to their hard protesting against Koizumi are similar to that my parents also don't care much about our relatives, having few chance to get along together except for meeting at someone's funeral ceremony. It's the evidence that the problem of deplomacy is just a larger scale of family and relative problem.

Miserable accident of killing a small girl in swimming pool.

The accident was occurred due to improper fitting of grating attached at the sidewall of the pool that is connected to the drain pipe which involved the girl by accident. After that, however, other similar cases are found throughout Japan that may also have the same risk. When I heard about such accident,I've always thought that it's none of other's business, but can be happened around me.

Also,I think it looks like a game of whack-a-mole arcade(MOGURA-TATAKI) happening anytime and anywhere that seems to have no solution for putting an end to our human errors.

I hope some convenient system would be established so that we can share various mistakes as soon as that happened in order to avoid same mistake again.

Continued from previous story. The youngster in question seemed he doesn't care at all about being criticized his not deserving championship according to what he said to the mass media. In this case, however, what is to be blamed is not that controversial hero but the judges who watched his fighting with biased eyes. The result might not only be good for himself but also for boxing business which lost trust from the audience.Besides, for youngster Kameda himself,he should have humbly learn what is lacking in him from the bitterness of defeat. It's can be seen everywhere, but we should not be too generous for young promising guys,or we may spoil them on the contrary.

Controversial result of boxing game. Mr.Kameda is a very strong youngster in boxing world who boast of suffering no loss so far that gained much popularity combined with his humorous and aggressive character as well. Therefore,Last night's championship game attracted many people involving even those who usually don't care such game. The result was, however, quite opposite from what people expected with his miserable playing that could never seen in his any previous fights, though he anyhow managed to win the game. What I was so moved was that many Japanese felt sorry for the foreign opponent who looked keeping advantage against new champion until the last.

I was glad to notice that it must be Japanese people's admirable charasteristic that we don't favor our nation's player, but have impartial eye of judgement in such sports.I hope it will on the contrary have the effect of building new friendship between Benezera and Japan.
The press announcement was released in public recently that our semiconductor factory might be sold to other competitive company in Taiwan.Though we recognize that M&A action is now very common that can be occurred in any company,we're worried so much what our company would be in the future because it was just separated from IBM Japan a month ago to be 100% subsidized by Epson.
